
Our Menus

Our ever-changing Seasonal Menu is built around thoughtful small plates, a few hearty mains, and daily specials inspired by what’s fresh from the market. From line-caught fish to larger cuts for sharing, expect dishes like buttermilk chicken with fermented chilli honey, spelt and root vegetable pie, or grilled John Dory with seaweed butter. Grounded in British produce with the occasional international twist, it’s all about good food done well.

Sundays at Welles & Cross are all about the Roast. Expect proper classics from pork loin with crackling, beef rump cap with horseradish cream, chicken breast with bread sauce, or a seasonal vegetable pithivier with salsa verde. Served alongside all the trimmings; roast potatoes, seasonal greens, roasted carrots, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, and unlimited pan gravy.

Available every Wednesday from 6–8pm, our Sharing Menu is a laid-back selection of snacks and small plates. Perfect for sharing with good company before the excitement of our weekly pub quiz.
