Root to Flower Pop-Up at Welles & Cross: A Vegan Twist on Classic British Pub Food

We at Welles & Cross are thrilled to announce a special culinary treat for our patrons! As we gear up to launch our own kitchen and menu, we’re bringing a unique dining experience to Sandbach. For two weekends in January, we’re hosting an exciting food pop-up with the fantastic ‘Root To Flower’, known for its fresh, vegan twists on classic British pub food.

When and Where? Mark your calendars for Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st, and the following weekend, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of January. It’s happening here at Welles & Cross, where good times and great flavours meet.

A Menu to Delight Your Senses Root To Flower’s menu celebrates British cuisine with a vegan heart. Start your meal with a scrumptious Ploughman’s Board or a Cheshire Rarebit that will tantalize your taste buds. For mains, choose between the heartwarming squash and sage orzo or the ‘Proper Pie’ filled with jackfruit and Guinness, served alongside creamy mash and fresh vegetables to name a few. And for dessert? Dive into a sticky pear pudding with toffee sauce or a spiced apple crumble with cream, all vegan, all delicious!
