Booking at Welles & Cross

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you to Welles & Cross. Just a few things to note
ahead of your visit:

Accessibility: We do have disabled access and facilities in our downstairs bar. Our
restaurant is upstairs via a steep staircase, which may not suit guests with limited
mobility.
Arrival: We’ll hold your table for 15 minutes after your booking time. If you’re
running late, do give us a call—we’ll always do our best.
Cancellations & No-Shows: Late cancellations (within 24 hours) or no-shows are
subject to a £25 per guest charge. We securely hold card details at booking and only
charge if this applies.
Celebrations & Decorations: We love hosting special occasions. As we’re a small,
intimate space, we kindly ask that large decorations (like balloons) and outside cakes
aren’t brought in, so we can keep things relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.
Children: Our downstairs bar is a lively, over-21s space, so we keep the restaurant
for guests aged 12+ in the evenings (Thursday–Saturday). Sundays are all about
family—everyone’s welcome. We serve our full menu to all guests, with smaller
portions available.
Dietary Requirements: If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let
us know when booking—we may not be able to accommodate requests made on the
day.
Dogs: Dogs are very welcome to join you for a drink in our downstairs bar, but not in
the restaurant upstairs.
